Finally, we have the sun back here in Winnipeg.  The temperature might even get into the 20’s C this afternoon.  I do have some yard work to do, so hopefully it dries out enough to do that.

I had yesterday off work, so I drove around to a few stores to check out bicycles and finally found one that I liked at Zellers.  Bikes were on sale at most of the stores – but I was really looking for cheap, since there is pretty close to zero in my bank account now.  So, I brought the bike home and road it around the block to get it adjusted the way I wanted it.  The other one had a nice suspension on it, so bumps were hardly felt, but this one has a removable seat, so it is less desirable to take when I take the seat out each time I leave it.  Right now it is chained to my back step and I am looking for someone to modify my tool shed door situation.  If I can move the doors to the inside of the yard instead of facing the back lane, I might have fewer problems.

Right now (it is just before 11am here and just before 6pm in Africa), I am watching a herd of Wildebeest having a drink and peacefully grazing at Nkorho Pan waterhole.  There is one Zebra with the herd.

The sun is going down and dusk is settling in.  Soon, the night animals will come out.

A couple of days ago, we were visited by a Rhino and a bunny.

There have been no further squirrel catches in my little trap, so this morning, I cleaned out the old peanut butter and put some fresh stuff in.  Hopefully then I can catch the one that is still coming and going from my walls.  I’ll be putting the ladder up along the eaves to check again to see if I can figure out where the little guys are getting in.
